Interest is paid monthly at the end of each month. 

Here is an example of monthly interest:

A user has a Savings Bucket of £20,000 and if they do not make any withdrawals:

  • After the end of 1st month, they will be receiving gross amount of £33.33, so their gross total will be £20,033.33.
  • After the end of 2nd month, they will be receiving gross amount of £33.39, so their gross total will be £20,066.72.
  • After the end of 3rd month, they will be receiving gross amount of £33.44, so their gross total will be £20,100.17.

Here is an example of interest paid at the end of a year:

A user has a Savings Bucket of £20,000 and if they do not make any withdrawals:

  • After the end of 1st year, they will be receiving gross amount of £403.69, so their gross total will be £20403.69.
